1850: After they had been contracted on 12th January after their matrimonial banns had been publicly intimated in the parish church of Birse were married Robert Calder in this parish and Jane Begg of Aboyne in the presence of witnesses.
November 9 1850: Robert Calder Drumneachy and his wife Jane Begg had a son baptised named James Robert. (mother of child died soon after)
Robert Calder is the s/o Joseph Calder and Mary Ettershank. 3 children located so far:
Erected by ROBERT CALDER farmer in Drumneachie in memory of his wife JANE BEGG d. 9 November 1850 aged 35. Said ROBERT CALDER d. 18 May 1865 aged 58.
